After purchasing my warm blood x thoroughbred gelding “Vincent” in late 2009, I was recommended Yvonne to look at him, as he was behaving badly, bucking and rearing mainly. This was not the horse I had brought but what seemed to be a dangerous horse that had lowered my confidents after being bucked off him and landing in hospital, ( lucky no damage was done ).
After 1 treatment from Yvonne I could see improvement in Vincent, as she had found he was in severe pain and was diagnosed with girth syndrome. After losing my confidence I was to scared to get back on him, so Yvonne offered to help me by coming out the following week and teaching me “Join up” by using natural horsemanship. I was then convinced after seeing Vincent respond to my commands on the ground, and seeing Yvonne ride him that he was no longer in pain and would not buck me off again.
Thanks to Yvonne I now have my confidence back and after several treatments over a few months regularly from her im happy to say we were both surprised when she came out after not treating him for approx 4 weeks to find he had no pain anywhere, and his girth pain was gone to. He is now a happy healthy 12yo.
If it wasn’t for Yvonne I can definitely say I would have sold Vincent on to another home and would not have the relationship and bond I have with him today, which has seen us go on to compete in pony club dressage and placing 1st in our first competition for 2010.
I would recommend Yvonne to everyone, if your having issues with your horse she can definitely help you one way or another. I can definitely say that Yvonne has not only made my horse happy and healthy but has put 110% into helping me with any problems I have had.

In November 2008 I received into my care a 6yr old thoroughbred gelding (Cosmo) whom had suffered a terrible injury leaving him with both radial carpel bones in his knees broken in half. His knees where the size of footballs and having the heart the size of a football field I decided to do everything in my power to ensure Cosmo had the best recovery I could give him. Yvonne Lucas was recommended to me by a friend and I was on the phone to her straight away. She came out and assessed my new boy and made a special bone mend herb mix and joint supplement to help with the healing of his knees. Her Nervous Nelly’s mix was given to help keep his composure cool and calm and also her G.I mix settled his tummy after being on Bute before he came to me which gave him ulcers in his belly.
He had surgery which involved 2 screws being put in place to hold the bones together and he had strict 3 month stabling with daily in hand walks to keep him moving.
After the 3 month wait it was time to go back to the vets and have his knees x-rayed to see if his knees had healed and the extent of damage to the tissue of his knees and was pleasantly informed by the vet that his knees where in much better shape then he would have expected and asked what I had been doing with him. I told him that Yvonne had been treating him and supplying me with her special bone mending mix and Limber Up joint mix. Yvonne also performed reikie, red light therapy and muscle stimulation on Cosmo which helped with his recovery.
The vet acknowledged that without Yvonne’s herbs and treatments cosmos recovery would not have been so good and recommended that I continued with her herb mixes and treatment.
I now can ride Cosmo and take him out on trails and he has not yet once pulled up sore. The swelling on his knees have gone down and only scar tissue is visible around where the screws are.
I also have another thoroughbred (Karma) whom suffers from a sore back once I start jumping him 100cm + but after Yvonne’s treatments he always performs better and is not sore.
I’d recommended Yvonne’s herbs and treatments to anyone who has horses for pleasure or competition who wants their horses to be the best that they can be.All my horses have had Yvonne’s detox blend and now are on her Happy Healthy Horses herb blend and they all look amazing, happy and healthy.

Four months ago my 4yr old King Charles Spanial was limping very badly. The vet was not sure what the problem was and I was not interested in giving him drugs. I started him on Limber Up Senior. Initially he was given 1/2 teaspoon with food morning and night for one month and now he has 1 teaspoon at night time mixed with his food. He no longer limps, he once again wants to play and is a very happy little dog. This wonderful natural treatment I would highly recommend.

A little while ago i wrote to you about my mare that was really bad when she was in season. After you recommended some "girlie" herbs I am glad to see that she is nowhere near as bad now and it is almost not noticable when she does come in season.
While I spoke to you about my mare you also gave me a sample of "Dizzy Lizzy", I would also like to say that this has helped my "A.D.D" horse. Rik seems so much more with mind on the job, so much so that he won his ridden hack class on the weekend, and resulted in a fantastic day. I would now like to purchase more "Dizzy Lizzy" and have recommended it to a few more people.

I would like to tell you about my daughter’s horse.He is a thoroughbred/riding pony x and has the ability to be quite HOT. For quite some time I have felt that there has been something not quite right with him but I have never been able to put my finger on the problem.I have tried everything that I could think of. I have trialled so many different food types that I have lost count and it has made no or little difference. Them my produce merchant (after being witness to all my attempts) gave me a card from a lady who has changed everything. This lady is Yvonne Lucas aka: The Herbie Lady. From the moment I met her I had a good feel about her.She has a way with her that calms from the start.Will, (my daughter’s horse) can be sometimes standoffish with strangers took to her immediately.It was a pleasure to watch. I have read articles about Photonic Therapy and have wanted to try is but the cost has always been prohibitive.Yvonne gives our club members a very generous price and does not work with one eye on the time.She spent quite some time working on Will and in the end he was telling her where to work.I know that some of you will think that that is a lot of rubbish but I was there watching and it was amazing.From the time that we bought Will we have never been able to touch him around his sheath and the back of his tummy area.We have accepted that this was just him and did not try to force the issue.Yvonne suggested that he may benefit from her GI blend or herbs as he may have stomach ulcers. She was right. After a month on the GI blend he will not only let us touch his tummy but enjoys tummy massages.We have also had difficulty maintaining his weight. We put him on the Detox blend and we have noticed such a change in him. Our feed bills have dropped and he is a much better horse.His colour has improved.He is actually black now not rusty brown.His eyes are much softer.In fact his whole persona is much calmer.We took him to a hunter trial recently to test his attitude and were amazed. He went through the Xcountry phase calmly and in the warm up ring for the show jumping he was on the bit and trotting. He actually looked out of place. He looked like a seasoned show hack in a show jumping ring.
I can’t thank Yvonne enough. Rhianna is enjoying her riding again and her and Will are riding together not against each other.

Yvonne and I met when I was having difficulties getting my new stallion to settle in. His behaviour was erratic, and he was biting his sides every day, quite often drawing blood. Yvonne recommended a detox, followed by a blend of herbs designed especially for him. The results were remarkable. Using a combination of natural training, feeding and supplementation with herbs, 12 months later he has put on weight, is shiny, and doesn't stress nearly as much. Whether the cause of his distress was physical or psychological, the overall combination was a complete success. He is now a normal, happy, healthy horse.
I have also used Yvonne's herbal joint supplement for our aging Great Dane with almost overnight positive results. He was noticeably more mobile, and a happier dog for it. I also used this same blend (and added a little white willow bark and devil's claw to relieve pain) on a 2 year old gelding who had strained a tendon while zooming around the paddock like a maniac, and whether or not it was coincidence, he only needed to be confined for 2 days before returning to the paddock and his usual light training sessions. I honestly believe he would have taken much longer to recover without the herbal treatment.
My feed room always has a supply of various herbs in it for different ailments, and in many cases, after advising my vet of what I am about to use, am able to use these instead of certain over-the-counter and veterinary products which are potentially harmful.

I have used Yvonne's herbs for 8 months with all my horses. I use Rosehip on my thoroughbred for his feet and after six weeks the farrier noticed a huge difference. I also use chamomile on my older mare to help with her stomach this herb saved her from dyeing from colic. We also use Garlic which we have found has helped keep mosquitoes at bay. We also have used Colts foot and Mullein to help a pony when she had a cold with great success. We have used many herbs from Yvonne this past year and have found them very successful. I first found Yvonne (not that she was lost) on ebay about a year ago when I was looking for herbal products for my horses. I believe horses should be kept as natural as possible, which is why all my horses are barefoot & are ridden in bitless bridles (yes even our Arab boy Boun).
I had some attitude problems with my mare & purchased some nervine herbs from Yvonne & have since also used general wellbeing herbs for maintenance & day to day health & have been delighted with the results.
